Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) MIBs of RAD devices

Overview

The Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) is an Internet-standard protocol that can be used to manage RAD devices on IP networks. SNMP can be used to graph various data with tools such as CACTI, MRTG or any other SNMP-enabled monitoring tool.

SNMP write support is only available for some OIDs. For supported OIDs SNMP v1, v2 or v3 write is supported

Compiling RAD SNMP MIBS

RAD SNMP Mibs downloadRAD devices include Standard and Enterprise MIBs. To allow management of RAD devices from an SNMP-enabled monitoring tool, you need to compile MIBs in the following order:

  1. Standard MIBs.
  2. RAD MIB, if you intend to manage multiple RAD devices -or- Product-specific MIB for the RAD device that you intend to manage.
  3. Other relevant MIBs.
